Hydronic Heating

Hydronic heating warms water through the use of Gas Boilers and are separate systems from your homes domestic hot water supply.

Modern hydronic technology moves water through sealed pipes throughout your home creating a systems that transfer the majority of their heat by thermal radiation.

These sealed system can also be used to heat your hot water tank, floor slabs, swimming pools, fan coils, garage floors, and even the driveway for snowmelt.

Dependant upon your needs there are many different configurations, each capable of meeting the exact comfort requirements for each homeowner.

Some systems can be installed with one boiler and a small loop, while others may use two or more boilers operated in stages, releasing their heat through an assortment of heat emitters.

Backflow Testing

Backflow prevention devices are installed and used to protect potable water from contamination or pollution due to backflow.

Water is maintained at a significant pressure to enable water to flow from the tap, shower, or other fixtures providing constant pressure. On commercial properties, these systems can include irrigation systems, boiler systems and fire suppression systems.

Only a licensed plumber with a cross contamination licence can test and certify that your pressure system meets city standards preventing contamination and insufficient water supply.

In accordance with city bylaws your backflow system has to be tested yearly to ensure your family or companies safety.

Cooper Plumbing & Heating was founded in 2011 by Jamie Whitehead and his family. Shortly after its opening Matt Derrien joined the team and worked closely alongside Jamie building Cooper's reputation.

In January of 2018, Jamie presented the opportunity to Matt and his family to purchase Cooper Plumbing & Heating, keeping its legacy of customer service at the forefront.

Today we collaborate with a wide variety of contractors and operate in various homes. Cooper Plumbing & Heating's team of experts provide multiple services including renovations, new home construction, as well as maintenance and service.

As the owner before us, we take great pride in clean polite and genuine customer service. We are proud to say we are still family owned and operated and will continue to run the company with integrity as outlined before.
